Conferences

These are annual events to allow the exchange of ideas and to spread best practice.

IOSH Annual Conference

IOSH annual conference features a number of different conference sessions with expert speakers. There is plenty of opportunity for networking and the conference covers a variety of subjects including strategic global insights, influential case studies and best practice guidance. For IOSH 2018 conference, the dates have been moved to 17-18 September 2018 and it will take place at the ICC in Birmingham, UK.

Networks Conference

The Networks Conference is an annual one-day event celebrating the work of IOSH’s Networks which is held on 19 November immediately following the IOSH 2018 conference at the ICC. The event provides delegates with the chance to share knowledge and good practice, gain insights into the latest developments at IOSH, and network with one another. All Network committees are invited to send delegates to the event - branches and groups can each send up to two committee members; districts and sections can each send one.

The conference programme is developed by the Networks Conference Member Advisory Panel (MAP), working alongside head office staff. The Networks Conference is a vital part of IOSH and plays an important role in guiding how we develop, particularly where our Networks are concerned. We strongly encourage all committees to be represented at the event.

IOSH’s Annual General Meeting will held at the end of the IOSH conference on the evening prior to the Networks Conference.

Middle East Conference

The IOSH Middle East annual conference provides essential updates on health and safety developments affecting the region.

The conference explores how successful initiatives are implemented and how organisations are addressing the challenges as well as offering guidance from experienced, high-profile international speakers on how to promote health and safety in the workplace.
