Quality and standards are at the centre of IOSH's collective success. Through this we want to strengthen our trainer criteria to enhance the quality of future IOSH trainers.

From 01 June 2018 all IOSH trainers, as a minimum, will have to:

  • be a Technical member of IOSH
  • have up to date CPD
  • have an adult training qualification at level 3 on a regulated qualifications framework; OR have successfully completed the IOSH Train the Trainer course
  • have two years substantial face-to-face training experience

Once you have completed the online course, you will be asked to deliver a short training session to an audience on a subject of your choice, followed by completing three short reflective statements to demonstrate your learning and understanding. IOSH will review your statements and award either a pass or fail and provide feedback.
