Be an ambassador for IOSH around the world

  Trumpet| Opinion | Craig Foyle, IOSH President-Elect | 03 July 2017

Do you want to give something back to IOSH and your fellow members by acting as an ambassador, raising awareness and promoting ways to improve safety and health at work?

If the answer is yes, then the deadline for applying to become a Vice-President of IOSH is fast approaching.

Nominations are currently open, however completed applications have to be in by noon Monday 17 July. Candidates are being sought to fill two positions this year, with the successful applicants serving for three years.

Current Vice-President Andrew Sharman decided to apply for the role in 2015 after many years volunteering for IOSH in various ways, believing his experience could help fellow members.

“The VP role provides the opportunity for me to act as an ambassador for IOSH around the world, to raise awareness and help promote ways to improve safety and health at work.”

President-Elect, Craig Foyle, believes it’s an incredibly exciting time for IOSH and the safety and health profession and, in a short interview below, explains why you may wish to get involved.

More details about the role and how to apply can be found on our website.
