Recipe for Success – Food and Drink Group recognised as movers and shakers at the IOSH Networks Conference

The IOSH Food and Drink Group swept to success at the IOSH Networks Conference this month, being recognised for their excellence in a number of categories.

The conference, held at Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, also included the annual Excellence in Communication Awards, recognising success in promoting occupational safety and health.

The Food and Drink Group had a stunning evening and were honoured for their contribution in the following categories:

  • Rob Strange Award – Recipe for Safety
  • Excellence in Communication
  • Highly Commended – Moving it safely event
  • Shortlisted  – Moving it safely event
  • Contagiousness  – Moving it safely event
  • Comprehension – Recipe for Safety

Chair of the Food and Drink Manufacturing committee John Boyle said. “Well done to everyone involved, it shows as a group we are capable of great things. It’s great to be awarded the Rob Strange Award for successful collaboration. Four members of the group authored the Recipe for Safety publication in conjunction with the HSE, Unions and Industry. Without collaboration, teamwork and the hard work of everyone involved, including the HSE commitment to support the document this valuable guidance document would not exist, It was a great honour and privilege to collect these awards on behalf of the group”.
