CPD

We believe one of our key duties is to encourage and help members to develop their career prospects by achieving Chartered membership of IOSH.

The Branch organises a number of professional development seminars throughout the year; these are run in conjunction with various health and safety recruitment agencies who are also represented at our monthly Branch meetings.

Continuing professional development (CPD) is a key requirement that all members are required to undertake. A development plan must be written and we advise that this is updated every 3 months. You should undertake at least 6 activities every year, which need to be recorded on your MyIOSH; again, this should be updated on a quarterly basis.

The volunteer committee are on hand to help with any general CPD or IPD questions.
