I am working towards CMIOSH grade of IOSH membership, am a friendly, gregarious team player and professional (working within the Code of Conduct) and am striving to support others to be the best they can be as well. Further to this I wish to get more involved within the inner workings of IOSH and look in the future to make the step into volunteering at one of the other central IOSH committees as a voice for the Staffordshire Branch.
I am proud to be associated with the Staffordshire Branch as for a long time now they have been a pioneering group and they are having a positive effect on the industry and on IOSH generally.
I started my journey into health and safety two years ago when I began to attend the Staffordshire Branch events, their passion guidance and fantastic events solidified my passion to become a health and safety professional. From there I started the long journey to gain qualifications and experience which is of course ongoing. In January 2017 I gained employment as a CDM Consultant working for a small building consultancy.
I am currently a Technical member but will be completing my Diploma within the next few months which will entitle me to Graduate membership. From there I will begin the final journey towards Chartered status.
