Managing Mega Construction Projects Safely

The IOSH Singapore Branch organised a “Managing Mega Construction Projects Safely: 2012 London Olympics and Others” event, which was held in Singapore on May 9th 2013, and attended by more than 120 people.

Lawrence Waterman, past president of IOSH, was involved in the forum, sharing his knowledge from his experience as the Head of Health and Safety for the Olympic Delivery Authority at the 2012 London Olympics and the subsequent learning legacy project.

Ms Audrey Perez is a Civil Professional Engineer and Director of Dragages Singapore Pte Ltd, she is a Fellow and Council Member of the SIArb. Ms Perez gave a presentation on “Safety and Health Issues in Relation to Project Size”.

Dr TING Seng Kiong is Chairman of of WSH Council Marina Bay Sub-Committee and is a Singapore-registered professional engineer, he is a fellow of the Academy of Engineers Singapore and both fellow and council member of the Society of Project Managers singapore. He gave a presentation on “Sharing of WSH Experience from Marina Bay Building Developments”.
