Nominee: Nicholas Jones
Position: Committee Member
Supporting statement: I would be honoured to continue as an executive committee member to carry through the branch events programme that I have helped to devise, plan and implement for next year.
I enjoy assisting the branch members network with each other which advances IOSH’s Work 2022 “collaborate” aim. Furthermore, I enjoy supporting the branch meet its Work 2022 “enhance” objective through my participation in the work of the executive committee.
I have previously participated in a similar committee for the North Wales Branch of RICS and hope to apply my experience in helping IOSH by applying this similar experience.

Nominee: Rachel Jones
Position: Chair
Supporting statement:I would like to continue to support my branch and fellow committee members through chairing the branch committee, specifically to ensure the provision of a full and interesting branch event and meeting programme which will significantly contribute to members CPD as well as provide members with regular networking opportunities so they may build their network and confidence through regular contact with a range of fellow members.
A new initiative we are currently considering is a CPD Corner at each meeting, which I hope I can participate in to impart my CPD experiences and knowledge on fellow members who ask for advice and guidance. I will assist the Committee hosting branch meetings and will aim to attend as many meetings as possible subject to work commitments.

Nominee: Richard Bladon
Position: Vice Chair
Supporting statement: I have been a member of IOSH for more than 25 years and the North Wales Committee as Vice Treasurer for the last 12 months. During the last 12 months I have sourced new speakers, represented North Wales at the Network Conference as well as took part in the MAP for the Network Conference, acted as a mentor on IPD for members, worked as a PRI panellist at the Grange, recently organised an IPD/CPD workshop for members and have prepared the Draft 2022 Branch Strategy for discussion. I feel that I can best support the Chair and the Committee working as a Vice Chair pressing ahead with the 2022 Branch Strategy once agreed.
