Branch plan 2016

Welcome to the Merseyside branch microsite with around 1200 members.

The branch committee are here to ensure you get value for money from your membership. We endeavour to take the branch away from the standard agenda meeting format taking members on site visits which will not only be interesting but also contribute to your continuing professional development as we observe how other professions manage their health, safety, welfare and environment. It also helps to serve the health and safety myth busting agenda we strive to promote.

Reaching out to 1200 people is a challenge but with a dedicated team, we are well-equipped to do so. We intend to make the branch microsite welcoming, easy to navigate and ensure all the information is up-to-date, relevant and informative.

By working with our Networks officer and various support functions at IOSH, we also want to take full advantage of social media - Twitter, Facebook, IOSH Linked In group and YouTube so please subscribe, like and follow IOSH social media outlets.

The branch committee will strive to achieve all of these things; however we need you to come along, speak with us, share your thoughts and get involved. We are also here to support you, so please say hello.

Here’s to a safe 2016 and beyond.

David Collins CMIOSH
