The North Western District of the IOSH Ireland Branch was established in 2007 and provides a service to IOSH members across a wide geographical area - encompassing counties Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, Longford, Westmeath, Cavan and Monaghan.

Aims and Activities

Our aims are to provide our members with information and skills, as well as an opportunity to network with like-minded professionals in order to enhance their effectiveness relating to safety, health and welfare in the workplace.

We provide a number of events throughout the year. These include:

  • Formal Presentations by eminent practitioners in specific fields
  • Forum for sharing skills, experience, knowledge and expertise
  • SHWW- oriented Visits to industrial and other prominent facilities and projects
