IOSH Participation in the APOSHO 31 Conference and AGM

IOSH will be participating in the APOSHO 31 Annual Conference and AGM, taking place on 4-7 April 2016 in New Delhi, India.

The Conference, which this year is hosted by the National Safety Council of India (NSCI) will concentrate on the theme of ‘Safety, Health and Environment - Shared Vision, Collective Action’. The Conference aims to promote the exchange of knowledge concerning new technologies, methods, equipment, and techniques for the prevention of injuries and disease, with the goal of progressing safety, health and wellbeing across the globe.

IOSH, which is an Affiliate Member of APOSHO, will be presenting on the following topics:

  • Vincent Ho will speak about the IOSH No Time to Lose Campaign;
  • John Lacey will highlight the importance of the new ISO 45001 standard; and
  • Andy Lo will explore the experience in Hong Kong with regards to ‘Design for Safety.
