The National Safety and Health Conference

28 July 2016

The National Safety and Health Conference taking place on the 15 September in Nottingham is primarily aimed at those working with or in the Public Sector. The conference aims to provide OSH professionals with the opportunity to learn new skills and enhance their knowledge.

Protecting lone workers, dealing with workplace bullying and harassment and how to encourage behavioural safety throughout an organisation will be among the many thought provoking topics covered at this year’s National Safety and Health Conference. Experts will also explore the challenges facing the UK’s health and safety system, the impact of new sentencing guidelines for corporate health and safety offences, and provide an update on the development of ISO 45001 - a new international standard for occupational safety and health (OSH).

We have pleasure in confirming a number of inspirational speakers, including Geoffrey Podger from the Centre for Risk Management, Helge Hoel, Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the University of Manchester, Lara Wilks Sloan from the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and Richard Atkins QC from St Philips Barristers.
