Angela Abbs

Angela is a Health and Safety trainer and consultant and has been running her own business, AMA Health & Safety since April 2013.

Previously Angela has 25+ years working in property, construction and social housing, Angela has held roles in housing management, sheltered and supported housing, and property development for housing associations and local authorities.  She has been involved with health and safety for around 20 years.

Angela’s consultancy work includes a variety of industries with clients from local authorities, housing associations, charities, mental health, an apprenticeship training provider, the motor industry, hotels pubs and catering, solicitors and private offices, and even a night club and a theatre.

Angela is an approved licensed trainer for IOSH, and as well as her business clients she also provides reduced rate training for charities in both Health and Safety and Soft Skills.

Living in north-west Norfolk, Angela is from a farming family background and very keen on outdoor pursuits.  She holds a shotgun license and shoots both clay pigeon and game with her partner Chris, who is a mussel fisherman at Brancaster.  What spare time spare time she has is spent on working and training her black Labrador gundog Charlie.
