2018 AGM nominations

Nominee: Simon Hatson
Position: Chair
Supporting Statement: I would like to have the role of Chair for one more year to support the Executive Committee in the execution of the new Branch strategy in accordance with Work 2022. The key focus is to continue to deliver value to our members while establishing the branch in the region & IOSH as a valuable asset through the continued delivery of a SMART & innovative programme of activities.

Nominee: Angela Abbs
Position: Secretary
Supporting Statement: I have been acting secretary for quite some time now and the current secretary is due to stand down at the next AGM. I feel that I can continue to support the Committee in the best way I can.

Nominee: Debi Anderson
Position: Committee Member
Supporting Statement: I have been working in Construction Health and Safety for eleven years. I am currently a Senior Health and Safety Consultant and CDM Advisor, heading up the East Anglia branch of MLM Group.
I previously served on the Committee between 2015 and 2016 but reluctantly had to resign due to work commitments at the time. I have been a co-opted member since May last year.
I am a Chair and panel member on the IOSH Peer Review Interview Panel, spending several days a year at The Grange interviewing candidates for Chartered membership.

Nominee: Carl Free
Position: Communications Coordinator
Supporting Statement: I am keen to help out in our committee and think the Comms Coordinator role suits my skills. I have been doing this role for a while and would like to continue.

Nominee: Andy Bagworth
Position: Comms Coordinator and Accounts Auditor
Supporting Statement: Continuation of role I am performing at present.

Nominee: Stacy Lewis
Position: Vice Chair
Supporting Statement: I have been on the East Anglia committee for several years now and I am currently co-opted into the role. I am the Chair of the Anglian Working Well Together group. I have experience of volunteering for such roles and putting together events for our members. I would like to continue to be on the committee so that I can give more to our membership in this region.
