Rob Dyer Grad IOSH - Committee Member

Rob Dyer B&W.jpgRob's career started in the china clay/quarrying industry as a Laboratory Technician in 1987, changing companies and progressing to Technical Officer. He then switched industry to work in the Highways sector as an IMS Coordinator in 2005 with a focus on auditing/compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001. After 3 years Rob then joined the company safety department as a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor. He passed the NEBOSH Construction Certificate in 2009 and became a Technician member the same year.

After 4 years in an advisory position he then changed to the Utilities industry working advising on both water and electricity contracts. Since 2015 Rob has been a Health and Safety Advisor in the construction industry working for a non-profit based consultancy whose membership comprises of approximately 800 small to medium sized construction companies and contractors. In December 2016 he gained a Level 5 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety Practice and is now a Graduate Member of IOSH, looking to gain Chartership in the next 6 months. He is also an Associate Member of IEMA. Rob is a member of the Construction Group and joined the Bristol and West Branch committee in May 2016.

Rob is an avid fan of ruby union and supports his local Premiership team Bath Rugby, as well as attending his home town games.
