Ian Hanley B&W.jpgIan has over 12 years’ experience in the Health, Safety and Environmental sectors. His interest in health and safety started whilst in the forces, with a background in training and management in transport, warehouse and telecommunication sectors. Upon leaving the forces he successfully attended and passed his NEBOSH Occupational, Environmental and Fire & Risk certificates and gained employment as a Licensed Removal Operative/ Trainer/ Auditor for an asbestos company. After gaining coal face experience in asbestos removal and compliance, Ian was promoted to the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager.

In the past 3 years he has developed his companies and his own health, safety and environmental practices and in 2016 completed his NVQ level 5 Diploma in Occupational health and safety Practices as well as other trade related course. He has gained experience in Asbestos, Scaffolding and refurbishment/demolition sectors as well as management systems, while continually renewing his companies OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, 14001 and implemented the 50001. The company has been awarded continuously ROSPA gold for its health and safety. Ian is planning to start working towards his CMIOSH level at the end of 2017 and is also a member of IEMA to develop his own environmental development.
