Colin Hogg CMIOSH - Treasurer

Colin Hogg B&W.jpgColin read Civil Engineering at Salford University graduating with a BEng (Hons) degree. He is an Incorporated Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (IEng MICE) and worked on a number of complex contracts including MOD Coulport, Channel Tunnel, Croydon Tramlink, Manchester Metro and the Midlands Metro before turning his focus to H&S.

Colin was one of the founder members of National Term Maintenance Contractors Safety Forum (the predecessor to the Highways Term Maintenance Association Safety Forum) representing that group on several government agency led initiatives related to road worker safety (Road Worker Safety Forum).

He holds the NEBOSH Diploma and is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner (CMIOSH). For the last 24 years he has worked for an organisation that has grown from a small construction company to one of the UK’s leading infrastructure and service providers with a turnover of circa £2b per annum.
