About me

Experienced Health and Safety Director/CDM Consultant with proven track record in delivering quality first time targets within tight deadlines in various industries. Trained to degree level with numerous NEBOSH qualifications, NVQ Level 4 & 5 in Occupational Health and Safety and continued professional development via the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the institute of Environmental management and Assessment (IEMA). Chartered Member of IOSH, IEMA and registered member of the HSE’s Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR).

Hard working, extremely motivated with a desire to succeed and help your business. Excellent ‘hands on’ skills with an aim of becoming part of your team rather than adopting an external advisor role. Vast experience in a wide range of HSEQ topics, issues and industries including construction, agriculture, care, motor, retail, hospitality etc. Experience of working on key projects such as house building, complete building renovations, hotel refurbishments and bar/restaurant/shop fit outs and new build. Clients include Scottish & Newcastle, NHS, Hilton, Quiz Clothing, M&S, Black & Lizars, Aggreko, local councils etc.

Trained and competent in all aspects of HSEQ management and committed to achieving the highest standard of work as well as implementing safety initiatives on site. This involves planning, producing bespoke easy to use paperwork and systems, helping to implement them and then checking that they are working effectively to maximise business efficiency to ensure that health, safety, environmental and quality aspects are integrated into your business seamlessly without draining resources or delaying production. Ability to work within tight deadlines, achieve results and communicate effectively at all levels as well as setting an example on site.

Effective problem solving on a wide range of knowledge in Health and Safety issues as well as a competent training provider for over 40 courses.
