Ian has many years of experience working in the building industry and in providing and advising on working at height training for building personnel. This session will focus on the management and use of scaffolding, scaffolding towers and ladders.

Members are encouraged to take part in an interactive discussion with speakers during the meeting and to network with other members over tea or coffee and biscuits after the meeting.

There will be a committee meeting after the main meeting.

Any IOSH member is always welcome to attend our meetings.

What you need to know

Booking not required. 

This meeting is separate from the morning CPD workshop. Members are welcome to attend one, or both of these events. Please note the sandwich lunch is provided for members who attend the morning workshop. It is not for those attending the afternoon meeting!

There is ample parking on site.

The hotel is a five minute walk from Grange-over-Sands railway station.

The railway line connects with the west coast main line at Carnforth and Lancaster.

The 6X bus route between Kendal, Ulverston and Barrow-in-Furness stops at Grange-over-Sands station.
