Two interrelated sessions which draw out themes and recommendations from the most recent research into mental and physical health in the workplace (Thriving at Work, Stevenson & Farmer, 2017; Psychology at Work: Improving Wellbeing and Productivity in the Workplace, Weinberg & Doyle, 2017; Bringing Together Physical and Mental Health: A New Frontier for Integrated Care, Naylor et al, 2016) in order to provide practical recommendations for employers committed to growing mental health and wellbeing awareness and provision in 2019.

2 x 45 minute presentations with a comfort break of 10 minutes between each presentation.

What's in it for you?

Session 1 – Has your mental health and wellbeing strategy taken root and is it now bearing fruit? An overview of best practice in developing mental health and wellbeing policy, strategy and implementation.

Session 2 – A practical and interactive workshop in which delegates will be introduced to a selection of evidence based, psychologically informed strategies which can be used to foster resilience in self and colleagues in order to promote thriving in the workplace.

Health and Safety Professionals, HR, Health & Wellbeing Leads, Managers and Directors who want to improve health and wellbeing practices, particularly around mental health, in their workplace.
