Overview

Lewisham Shopping Centre – Health, Safety and Security visit

Landsec is the largest commercial property company in the UK with a portfolio that is a diverse mix of offices, retail, leisure in London, and retail and leisure across the rest of the country.

Lewisham Centre is the oldest scheme within the Landsec portfolio. It was developed in the early/mid 1970’s and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2017. In total the site covers 13 acres with 70 retail units and in integral 846 space multi-storey car park.

It has approximately 9 million visits per annum and 800, 000 car park visits.

This event will be an opportunity to share our approach to managing health, safety and security in shopping centres and will include a presentation and masterclass from our Lift and Escalator Service Partner, D2E. 

This is a 2 hour visit starting at 10:00.

How to get here

Tube: The DLR is next to Lewisham main-line station and reaches north to Stratford, west to Tower Gateway and Bank in the City of London and east to Beckton, London City Airport and Woolwich Arsenal. Lewisham train station is a main-line station. Operated by Southeastern, the trains give easy access to London Charing Cross, London Cannon Street, London Victoria and Kent.

Bus: Being in the heart of Lewisham Town Centre, we are easily accessible by public transport. There are many buses that stop directly outside or near the shopping Centre:

21, 47, 54, 75, 122, 136, 178, 180, 181, 185, 199, 208, 225, 261, 273, 284, 321, 380 and 436.
