Dear Highlands and Islands Members,

Safety Lessons’ from Scottish Aquaculture

Your executive committee have organised the first CPD event of 2018.

**** PLEASE NOTE THE NEW START TIME OF 15:00 ****

Billy Glen will be delivering an insight into the lessons’ learnt from accidents and incidents within the Scottish Aquaculture. This is a prime opportunity for you to learn from a Safety Manager who works within one of Scotland’s challenging environments.

Billy has twenty nine years experience in the paper making industry where as a production shift manager he was responsible for managing Paper Production and for Health and Safety systems including Risk Assessments/Safe Systems of Work/Accident-Incident investigations/safety training.

He joined Marine Harvest in 2008 as the Health and Safety Manager responsible for monitoring compliance with the Safety Policy – Advising Management and developing Policies etc.

In order to open up opportunities for you to attend in person the committee have organised for this event to be streamed to several Highlands and Islands locations:

  • Locations will be advertised in a few weeks.

Please keep a look out for Committee Mailer for updates.
