How companies and organisations can address the issue of drink and drug driving in the workplace.

There will be an interactive element to the talk, in which attendees and can learn about drug recognition and how police recognise signs of drug use among drivers.

Paul Joseph Mountford. Merseyside Police. Paul is a retired Police Sergeant, retiring from Merseyside Police in 2017 after 30 years’ service. He served for over 27 years in the Traffic/Roads Policing Department where he investigated many collisions, including cases involving fatalities. Paul is currently employed by Merseyside Police, working at the Merseyside Road Safety Partnership as the Casualty Reduction Coordinator for Merseyside. He is also the Force’s Lead for drink and drug driving and trains police officers on these topics. He also operates Road Safety Matters, a Community Interest Company which aims to address road safety issues among professional drivers and those who drive for work and young, novice drivers.
