Overview

The Ireland East Branch introduces their half-day annual seminar with the focus on mental health and how it can be understood and supported in the workplace.
Speakers will provide expert knowledge and experience for you to take back to your organisation.

What's in it for you?

Part of the day will offer mental health first aid training. You will learn the signs and symptoms of mental health problems and what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective. You will learn a framework for communication, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person towards appropriate treatments and other supportive help.

The HSA will also be attending to advise about a stress audit tool which can be used to assist organisations in meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety Authority's Risk Assessment for psychosocial hazards requirement - including work-related stress.

More details about speakers to be confirmed. Please check this page for updates.

You will also benefit from networking with local professionals.
