Overview

This seminar will provide information on the long-anticipated transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001. Topics covered include:

  • Key changes from OSHAS18001:2007, Annex SL Common Structure, 
  • OHSAS18001/ISO DIS45001.2, Terms and definitions, 
  • Context of ISO DIS45001.2, Auditing and Migration plan 

The Speaker is Maria McKeown – BSc Occupational Health and Safety, NSAI Business Excellence Lead Auditor. Employed by NSAI – National Standards Authority of Ireland - as a Lead Auditor in management system auditing OHSAS18001:2007, ISO9001, Corporate Social Responsibility and the Business in the Community Responsibly Mark.

As a Lead Auditor Maria’s role includes performing pre-assessment, registration and surveillance audits to management systems. The scope of work includes auditing in Ireland, UK, Holland, USA and UAE.
Maria was actively involved in the systematic review of OHSAS18001:2007 and OHSAS18001:2008 at an international level. She is currently participating in the development of ISO45001.

NSAI provides worldwide certification to such standards as ISO9001 (Quality), OHSAS 18001 (Safety) and ISO14001 (Environment).
