The joint event hosted by the Essex Branch and East Anglia Branch commences with a networking buffet from 12pm. Essex Branch mentors Sarah, Mark and Adam will also be available to help with any development and progression questions you may have.

The presentations begin at 1pm with Ronnie Irani of Orthosole opening the day discussing what the future of PPE can learn from Sports Science.

Mark Curry will then present on the how to raise awareness of drugs and alcohol behaviours and how to introduce a policy to your company and client.

There will be a chance for networking and a short break before Jason Kennan discusses Statutory Inspections.

Our closing presentation will be from Christian Harris asking “Is slip safety always elusive?”

This event is open to all IOSH Members, their guests or those with an interest in workplace health and safety and is free to attend. We recognise the fact that many people who are not full-time safety practitioners may have been assigned health and safety duties by their employer and may need our support.

What you need to know

The Ivy Hill Hotel is located just off the A12 and there is ample free parking on site.
