Overview
It is important that workplaces have trained First Aiders, but it can also be advantageous to have other staff who are trained in emergency First Aid giving them skills that may help them to save lives. This session will look at ways in which managers can assess the level of First Aid training that is appropriate for their work environment. It will also include practical demonstrations.
Members are encouraged to take part in an interactive discussion with speakers during the meeting and to network with other members over tea or coffee and biscuits after the meeting.
There will be a committee meeting after the main meeting.
Speakers: James Woolgrove, Director, James Woolgrove Associates and Richard Nicholson, Senior Trainer, Nationwide Fire Training
