Overview

Guy Doyle has worked as the sole Director for MANCHESTER FIRE COMPLIANCE LTD since 2014.

This fire safety consultancy provides Fire Risk Assessments, Building Design reviews to recognized standard of Approved Document B and BS9999. As well as providing staff training, including Fire Awareness, Fire Marshall Training and Site Manager training to support a broad range of clients in effectively managing their day-to-day fire safety responsibilities.

Prior to this Guy served for 18 and a half years for Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, working operationally as a firefighter and Incident Commander before being promoted into their Training & Development Centre, working as a Fire Behaviour Instructor educating firefighters and Incident Commanders on fire, how it grows and training crews in effective fire-fighting techniques.

The last 3 years of his career with GMFRS, Guy worked as a Fire Safety Enforcement Officer which involved auditing a wide range of commercial premises to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, 2005 and where necessary, enforcing this legislation. Also working collaboratively with Local Authority Building Control consulting on Building Regulations to recognized standards, (Approved Document B and BS9999) and on licensing applications.

What you need to know

Free parking is available on site. Westhoughton railway station is a short walk from the Hall, and the town is well served by the local bus network.

A light lunch is provided for you at 12.30pm and the event will begin at 1.30pm  with a 15 minute refreshment break during the afternoon.
