Overview

The effective management of a critical incident, experienced by any organisation, let alone an educational establishment is crucial.  Often confusion reigns, with individuals unclear of their roles or the types of policies, procedures and guidance  which may be available for them to follow.

Grant Cropper and his team have been working, with schools, to raise awareness of how to deal with a critical incident.  Added to this, risk escalation exercises have been used, as a vehicle, for school critical incident management teams to gain confidence and become familiar with relevant guidance and good practice.

The session will offer the opportunity for an informative and hands on interactive experience.  Networking will also be encouraged, allowing for future support and guidance in this area of risk mitigation.

Speaker: Grant Cropper, red24 (red24 is a leading crisis management assistance company providing global risk management to employees and companies)
