Overview

Speaker: Eddie Kalinowski, Health, Safety & Environment Manager, Dugdale PVC, Sowerby Bridge

Eddie believes that it is important that staff using COSHH substances understand how to assess the risks associated with the tasks that they are undertaking. He has developed a practical approach for SMEs who are managing potential COSHH risks. This focusses on Quantity (How much is used?), Concentration (How strong is the substance?) and Duration (How long will staff be exposed to the substance?)

Members are encouraged to take part in an interactive discussion with speakers.

There will be an opportunity to network with other members and the speaker over tea and coffee before and after the main meeting.

There will be a committee meeting after the main meeting.
