Unfortunately, many employees can encounter confrontational situations in the workplace.  They may become victims of verbal abuse, harassment, threats or even physical violence. This interactive workshop aims to identify the various risks that staff can encounter while undertaking their work.

This session covers a host of skills and strategies to deal effectively and safely with confrontation. Through the combination of observation, threat and dynamic risk assessment, the session will assist attendees in taking control of challenging situations. The combination of theory and practical participation will provide delegates with an opportunity to discuss and explore such issues in a safe learning environment.

Speaker: Vince Donovan – Director of Safety Solutions Training

We will also be holding our branch AGM, where you can elect your committee for 2018/19.
