You will be taken on a journey from the traditional Behavioural Based Safety through to Cultural Safety and what actually drives behaviours. You will be presented with some proof of how clients are making this work and then some new research into how caring about your staff in many ways (well-being) underpins engagement which is the driver of business performance.

Speaker: Matthew Strong

Matthew has worked around the world on Cultural Safety projects over the past six years and is our lead in train the consultant programmes. His background is in the utility and construction sectors where he has enhanced safety cultures through design and delivery of behavioural safety courses and safety leadership training material.

Prior to working with RyderMarsh OCAID he led the delivery of construction projects and business improvements both directly and indirectly through training and coaching. He has pinpointed improvement opportunities through the assessment of behavioural programmes, safety data analysis and H&S surveys.
