Overview

Practical asbestos management, including legislation, types of asbestos, monitoring and management considerations.

Details on how the county council manage asbestos across their estate.

Speakers: Natasha Freeman (past IOSH president) and Philip Hill (Health and Safety Compliance Manager, Cambridgeshire County Council)

Helen Peach, Membership Development Advisor from IOSH, will be giving a presentation on Continual Professional Development Made Clear and will be available after to answer any other Membership queries.      

Louise Hosking is a member of the IOSH Consultancy Group Committee & Chair of Chiltern Branch. She will be giving a presentation on becoming a consultant and how the consultancy group can support your role as a consultant. She will explore the pro’s and con’s of the role which will be of interest to current consultants or anyone who is thinking of becoming a consultant now or in the future.
