Board of Trustees Member role

The Board of Trustees is responsible for developing and setting IOSH’s strategic priorities and policy, ensuring the successful implementation of the corporate strategy through the efficient and effective management of IOSH through the Chief Executive and Standing Committees.

The Board is seeking a member who has worked at a senior level, developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives. You should have experience of managing or overseeing a significant budget and previous involvement in new product development and external relations would be advantageous.

You will be required to attend six board meetings a year, with additional time required to sit on a sub-committee or working group and to attend two Council meetings. Time to review documents to prepare for meetings will also be needed.
