The value of the practitioner is changing for the better. With the introduction of Chartered status for members this year, IOSH is continuing to position the safety and health professional as a key business asset. It is our hope, then, that the career image and progression of our members reflects this and other positive changes to the profession. To determine once more whether progress has been made, we commissioned our fourth salary and attitudes survey in April 2005, working again with recruitment specialist Macmillan Davies Hodes.
