IOSH Council Elections 2011

The Institution will conduct a ballot of
it's members later this year to elect new Council members to
represent them. Successful candidates will join Council after
the AGM in November 2011 and serve for three years.
12 members are to be elected by all members of IOSH. The
12 will comprise at least nine corporate members (Chartered Fellow,
Retired Fellow, Chartered Member, Retired Member), and up to three
non-corporate members (Graduate Member, Technician Member,
Affiliate Member, Honorary Fellow).
Nomination forms are available by emailing the
chief executive’s office or calling +44 (0)116 2573110,
and must be completed and returned by noon on Friday 27 May 2011.
There is one electoral college and corporate members can vote for
non-corporate and vice versa.
Candidates can be nominated by two other members or by a
network.
Members retiring, all of whom are eligible for re-election
are:

Liz Skelton
Norman Walton
Stan Yellop
Two Vice-Presidents, Tim Briggs and Gerard Hand are also
retiring and are eligible to stand for Council in the summer
election.
