Posted Fri, 10 Dec 2010
London's Victoria Tube Station has been reopened following a closure due to a suspected gas leak.
Officials evacuated and closed the underground station in central London, after the leak in the ticket office.
Despite the closure, District, Circle and Victoria line Tube trains were still passing through the station. However, the trains avoided halting at the station.
Firefighters and a gas engineer were called to the station to find out whether the fumes were gas, according to Transport for London.
