Vote for your new Council members
27 June 2012
You will, by now, have received your voting
paper and candidates’ statements for the 2012 Council election,
either by email or post. There are 23 candidates and 12 places
available so your vote is important.
For your vote to count it must be returned to the Electoral
Reform Society (ERS) by noon on 6 August either via the internet
voting option or the postal voting option using the stamped
addressed envelope provided (if you’re a postal voter).
Please get involved in the democratic election process and give
the candidates their chance to make a difference. You can read the
candidate statements, ask questions and join the debate if you
visit the IOSH Members' forum (you’ll need to log
in to gain access) this will be live until 16:00 on Monday 6
August 2012.
Council debates the future direction of IOSH, which in turn
significantly affects the future of the health and safety
profession; and don’t forget – all future IOSH presidents must come
from amongst those members who sit on Council, so do vote for your
chosen members, who are standing to represent YOU!
