referrals and a career path. Organisations and employers are able
to use NZISM to review occupational health and safety consultants.

(NZOHS)
The Society has over 40 members made up of a small number of
professional occupational hygienists either working for large
companies, private consultants or for the Department of Labour's
Occupational Safety and Health Service. The Society has also

working in the field of health and safety, but have only a
part-time interest in occupational hygiene.

The Ministry is responsible for national civil defence and
