IOSH President Elect attends PSAM9 Conference in Hong Kong

Innovative methodologies and technologies
were very much to the fore as IOSH president elect Nattasha Freeman
attended the ninth International Probabilistic Safety Assessment
and Management Conference (PSAM9).
This year's event, which took place in Hong Kong in May, focused
on the improvement of performance and safety of complex
technological systems, economics, and environment. The Conference
attracted over 350 papers from over 30 countries.
Invited to speak by the Conference General Chair, Dr Vincent Ho,
who is also the immediate Past Chair of IOSH Hong Kong, Nattasha
delivered two presentations at the Conference. The first was on
Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations and the second
on Commercial Property Management. For further details and

In addition to speaking at the PSAM9 Conference, Nattasha also
had an opportunity to visit the IOSH Hong Kong Branch. She
delivered a Seminar to branch members on Sensible Safety Management
and provided an overview on the status of IOSH today and the way
forward.
