IOSH welcomes South Korean TV Crew to the Grange

A South Korean TV Crew visited IOSH on 24 June 2010 to interview a number of IOSH Staff for a documentary. The documentary was aired in early July on a national South Korean TV channel.

The documentary examined other countries approaches to Health and Safety. Staff interviewed on the day included: Chief Executive Rob Strange OBE, Dr. Luise Vassie, Head of Research and Technical Services, and Jill Joyce, Senior Policy and Technical Advisor. A mock training course on manual handing, delivered by Mary Ogungbeje, Research and Technical Advisor, was also filmed.

Subjects covered in the interviews included an introduction to and history of IOSH and its role and relationship with HSE, health and safety policies and enforcement, education, campaigns and newly emerging workplace risks.
