05 Edition of the ILO Encyclopedia of occupational health and
safety
Monday, 12 May 2008
The International Labour Office (ILO) has
recently announced that they are updating their Encyclopaedia of
Occupational Health and Safety to a 5th Edition and are looking for
support from IOSH members to help with this mammoth task.
The First Edition of the Encyclopaedia was created in 1930 and
along with its subsequent editions has been the definitive standard
reference in our field. The ILO is now looking to bring the
Encyclopaedia well into the 21st Century making it web based and
linked into a variety of educational recourses.
The ILO is looking to gather 10,000 experts in occupational
health safety to form a encyclopaedia made up of Article Authors,
Chapter Editors and Peer Reviewers.
If you are interested in getting involved as either as an
author, editor or reviewer please email for more details.
