European Network of Safety and Health Professional
Organisations (ENSHPO)
ENSHPO is a network of health and safety
professional organisations from European countries, including
current EU member states, applicant countries and others.
ENSHPO was established in 2001 to provide a collective voice
within Europe for health and safety practitioners. ENSHPO
represents the views, opinions and concerns of an extensive group
of practitioners, operating as a dialogue partner with relevant
national and international authorities, as well as co-operating
with other organisations, institutions, and federations within
Europe and beyond.
The aims of ENSHPO are to:
- promote participation from all health and safety professional
organisations across the whole of Europe and to involve such
organisations in the network's activities
- create an informal and formal platform for professional
organisations and provide a supportive environment for them
- enter into discussions and co-operate with relevant European
and international organisations and associations, including the
European Agency for Safety and Health at Work
- provide a forum that facilitates the exchange of information,
experience and good practice on a wide variety of topics
- advocate health and safety in the work environment
Laurence Dufour, IOSH International
Officer, currently manages the ENSHPO Secretariat, and Hazel
Harvey, Executive Director - Membership, is the IOSH
