Choosing a qualification
The qualifications listed here meet the
academic requirements for Associate/Technical (AIOSH/Tech IOSH) and
Graduate (Grad IOSH) membership. Students who successfully complete
their qualification and who have a suitable level of experience in
a health and safety role are eligible for Technical membership.
Students who have successfully completed their degree-level
qualification are eligible for Graduate membership.
Continuing
Professional Development (CPD) - is discretionary for Associate
members but is an obligatory requirement for Technical and Graduate
members in order for them to maintain their membership status.
All of the qualifications listed are for courses that are
currently running. If you hold a qualification that is not on the
list that you wish to have assessed for membership please contact

These assessments are conducted free of charge for members and for
a small fee for non-members.
