Railway Group Strategy
July 2012
An important part of the Railway Group Committee’s Strategy is
the need to improve the support and become more effective in the
way we communicate with our members.
We aim to meet this goal by getting closer to our membership,
which will enable us to not just understand our members' needs but
meet them head on.
We will be commencing this initiative immediately, firstly by
inviting members to complete a five minute Group Survey
Questionnaire. This will be followed by offering networking
opportunities firstly at the Railway Group Conference on Tuesday 20
November 2012 at Glazers Hall, London, and thereafter by arranging
four site visits, where we really can understand the risks involved
and the management techniques used in our sector.
We are proud also to have welcomed the launch of the
Railway Group Linkedin Subgroup on 2 July. LinkedIn we hope
will provide an opportunity to recognise the importance of a
dedicated group of health and safety railway professionals, and
become a successful online platform for knowledge sharing,
debate and professional development for everyone with an interest
in our industry.
