The Railway Group was set up to make sure the networking we enjoyed under British Rail could continue after privatisation. Our ongoing work aims to promote a balanced view of the industry's safety performance.

Chartered membership of IOSH has become established as the pre-eminent qualification for safety professionals working in the rail industry, and we aim to support this.

The Railway Group has published its three year plan, which will be updated every 6 months with progress reports.
