Committee vacancies

The IOSH Public Services group invites you to contact them if you would like to be considered for the committee vacancies outlined below.

Group activities and projects depend on the continuity of a Committee made up of members such as yourself who volunteer their time and skill set. As an IOSH committee member you will have access to network, meet and contribute to raising the profile of Health and Safety.
                                
If you come from  public sector background especially Local Government and are interested in joining the committee please submit a short statement as to what you could bring to the group to Bruce Phillips, Chair of the Group.

The role requires attendance at approximately four committee meetings at IOSH headquarters every year; attendance at two events and work on projects and activities as decided by the group. The roles we are currently advertising for are general committee members roles and:
 
Web Champion: Co-ordinates the uploading of agreed content to the groups microsite. Maintains all relevant documentation, records and correspondence. All training via distant learning and support is provided by Head office.
 
Articles/Publishing Co-ordinator: Writes and co-ordinates articles and publicity material for SHP magazine and other avenues as agreed by the group.
