National Food and Drink Awards
The NFD health & safety awards recognise innovative
industry projects that have produced practical solutions to,
and made a positive impact on, a health and safety in the food or
drink manufacturing sector.
Every year a a judging panel which includes representatives from
the HSE, FDF and the Unions review submissions from entrants for
the awards. These range from very small initiatives to the
larger and wider spread programmes implemented by larger
companies.
Commendations
Not all of the applicants can be winners but many of the
projects entered are meritorious and receive commendations from the
judging panel.
Communicating best practice
To celebrate "Excellence" this section of the Food & Drink
website contains presentations from a selection of the top award
entrants from previous years.
We believe that by asking those that have received commendations
to share and communicate their best practice can only help others
and raise standards. Expert advice from competent safety and
health practitioners is an essential component in promoting good
practice -
