Nightshift worker killed in blaze at gourmet vegetarian
food factory

A food process worker died after a
fire ripped through the premises as he worked the
nightshift.
Sixty firefighters tackled the blaze, which broke out shortly
after 11pm on Sunday.
The body was found inside the badly damaged factory.
The company produces gourmet vegetarian food, supplying delis
and supermarkets across the UK and uses large deep fat fryers
in which it is assumed the fire started.
Police and fire officers are investigating the cause.
