The IOSH Food and Drink Group has over 700
members working in the food and drink manufacturing, bottling and
canning industries and the catering sector.
As part of our work to share benchmarking and best practice
across the industry, we:
- run an awards scheme on behalf of the Food Manufacturing Forum,
to recognise outstanding individual performance and original
solutions to health and safety problems in the industry
- support the national 'Recipe for Safety' initiative, getting
involved in best practice projects
- are developing an online resource aimed at improving health and
safety in multicultural workforces
- organise networking events.
