'New Technology Day'

The FIA is holding a New Technology Day, where member companies will present and display new products and ideas.  The event is supported by NAHFO Scotland and will be held at the IET Glasgow.

Pre-registration to the event is required and there is a nominal fee of £20.  Further details on the agenda for the day along with booking details are on the FIA website.

Fire Lecture 2012 'Fire - Cost and Consequence'

'Can buildings be safe and sustainable?'

This one day seminar, organised by the FPA at the St John's Hotel in Solihull, brings together sector experts from the building lifecycle to discuss whether features of sustainable buildings increase or add to fire safety risk.  For further details and to book a place, please see the FPA website.

The Institution of Fire Engineers - 2012 Annual General Meeting and International Conference

The theme for the annual conference is 'New technologies in the fire world'.  This will be held in Stratford Manor in Stratford- upon-Avon, close to their new headquarters.  Further details on programme, location and booking a place can be found here.

Fire Sprinkler 2012

The Leicester Marriott Hotel will host Fire Sprinkler 2012.  This will be  BAFSA's fourth all-sprinkler conference and exhibition, and the only one of its kind in the UK. 

Key industry figures, politicians and fire safety specialists will share their knowledge and expertise with delegates making it a must-attend event for anyone whose professional responsibilities encompass the protection of life, property and the environment from the devastating effects of fire.
